Guild News circulation on the up

Dear Readers

Welcome to the September issue of Guild News. Phew, how the Summer has flown by - I hope that wherever you are in UK the weather has been kind to you, and that you’ve been kept busy with your seasonal promotions.

As the Summer draws to a close, in this issue we look at ways to treat clients whomay not have heeded your advice for sun protection, or those who simply underestimated the damaging effects of the sun. DonnaTaylor looks at post-Summer skin savers that will quench dehydrated skin and help restore a healthy glow to complexions suffering from pigmentation and environmental damage.

Meanwhile,Abbi Cox goes high-tech with a guide to Coloured LightTherapies for reducing redness and swelling, effective treatment of acne, skin rejuvenation and the promotion of the production of collagen.

Whilst the season’s change it’s time to refresh your work wardrobe, so take a look at our guide to the UK’s leading salon wear designers and see their catwalk-inspired tunics, dresses and trouser combinations that are sure tomake you stand out fromthe crowd.

I’d also like to take this opportunity to wish Claire, our Deputy Editor, well as she leaves the Guild News office to have her first baby with partnerTim. I’msure I speak for the whole of the teamwhen I say we’llmiss her but are exceptionally excited about the forthcoming arrival - we’ve never had a Guild News baby before! We’ll keep you posted on baby’s progress, and I look forward to Claire retuning after hermaternity leave.

Best wishes
