Meters long semiconducting nanowire array. A polymer-embedded nanowire array rolled around a pencil truly spans macroscopic and nanoscale worlds. Cross-sectional SEM micrographs from both sides of a 10-m-long polymer fibre that contains hundreds of As2Se3-PVDF core-shell nanowires.
