igOptix, Inc. (OTCBB: GGOX) announced that at a special Endwave Corporation stockholders
meeting, the stockholders voted to approve the acquisition of Endwave by GigOptix, Inc. At the meeting, holders of more than 55% of the outstan- ding Endwave shares, or more than 98% of the shares represented at the meeting, were voted in favor of the adoption of the acquisition. Under the terms of the acquisition, all outstanding shares of Endwave common stock will be converted into shares of Gig- Optix common stock at a conversion ratio of appro- ximately 0.908.

Furthermore, GE Lighting has signed an agreement to acquire Lightech, a privately held, advanced lighting technology leader based near Tel Aviv, Israel, with commercial teams in Europe, the U.S. and Asia. Lightech specializes in providing LED electronic drivers, plus halogen transformers, to the lighting industry.
Moreover, the Company announced the sampling of two new chip sets for short reach 14Gb/s serial optical interconnects. Building on the company‘s expertise in providing low power 40G and 100G par- allel short reach devices, GigOptix now offers 4- and 12-channel 14Gb/s link chip set solutions for next generation Infiniband Fast Data Rate (FDR) Active Optical Cables (AOC) operating up to 168Gb/s as well as 40G and 100G Ethernet transceivers.
