VD Equipment Corporation (NASDAQ: CVV) announced record orders of approximately
$24.6M for the six months ended June 30, 2011, an increase of 165% compared to $9.3M for the 6 months ended June 30, 2010. Orders continue to be booked at high levels, as the Company received approximately $8.4 of new orders for the three (3) months ended June 30, 2011, also a record high for a quarter ended June 30.
Orders for the twelve months ended June 30, 2011 were $40.4M, an increase of 193% compared to $13.8M for the 12 months ended June 30, 2010. The orders received in the 6 and 12 month periods surpass those of all previous 6 and 12 month periods respectively.
Orders received by the CVD/FN division for the 6 months ended June 30, 2011 were $22.0M, an in- crease of 195% compared to $7.4M for the 6 months ended June 30, 2010.

of dilitronics Asia Ltd. in Hong Kong, the company, which specialises in LED control, is further expan- ding its sales activities in the rapidly expanding Asian market. The dilitronics office in Hong Kong is the first outside Europe. The ESoLUX 2.0 Solar LED Control- ler is particularly interesting for the Chinese market. This product, presented in 2009 as the first of its kind worldwide, for the first time enables a completely energy self-sufficient operation of street lighting on the basis of LEDs.
