Tom Cousins The jewel in our crown... Tom brings life and excitement to the squad with his flair and vision for what can only be de- scribed as one of the most outrageous finishers in the game today. Currently ranked in the top 10 on the UK Tour he is one to look out for.


Tom Price Tom will certainly bring a voice to this year’s squad, his likeable and cheeky humour alongside his flair for the game will all go to help add strength to this year’s team. Tom has been around the squad for a while and has recently been a strong part of the European B team, we wel- come Tom back to the A’s and wish him the best of luck.


Wayne Smith Captain of the men’s team and also known as the “rhino”, Wayne will guar- antee some noise and banter during the championships. Wayne we like to call “super glue”, he keeps the team well bonded and en- sures the squad stick together, weather playing or managingWayne will sure let some steam off should Wales bring the World title home to go with their Euro- pean championship title for 2011.


Oly Bale Once again Oly joins the Team to add to a vibrant side looking for that double title, Oly will bring a rapid finish to most frames and his growing experience will ensure a solid performance from his colleagues. He is also a former Euro- pean champion so he knows how to win.


Paul Hawkins European player of the year 2011,Paul without doubt Mr consistent, always de- livers the goods in team events and brings with it passion and commitment, a great asset to the Men’s team once again you can expect Paul to be up there fighting for the man of the tour- nament.


Russell Burgess One of the quiet ones but steady and reliable on the 8 ball table, Russell a part of the European 2011 title winners looking to add the World title to his al- ready bulging trophy cabinet. Russell is a prolific team player and always diffi- cult to beat.


Ryan John Missing from the Europeans but, Ryan this year will be hungry to join that title winning side so watch out for him, he will be sure to feature in the top of the averages this year and looking to assist in the lifting of that exclusive trophy.


Dave Roblin Returns to the fold in what promises to be one of Dave’s best ever appearances in the welsh colours, a player with prob- ably the best attitude to the game of pool, cool calmand usually found eating chocolate before and during the game, full of commitment applied with the fullest of concentration.
