To locate the starter (auto transmis- sion), Ignition, Key Sense wires, you must remove the circuit board module from under the steering column. It is a three- step process in which the lower cover. Circuit board and upper cover must be removed separately.
Remove the trim panel that attaches the instrument cluster to the steering column cover. Then, remove the one Torx T20 from the bottom of the steering column cover and remove the top of the steering column cover.
Remove the trim panel that attaches the instrument cluster to the steering column cover. Then, remove the one Torx T20 from the bottom of the steering column cover and remove the top of the steering column cover.

Remove the seven clips that hold the circuit board cover on.
Remove the circuit board downward very carefully. Do not bend any pins.
Remove the two clips that hold the top circuit board cover on. Then, reattach the circuit board and its case together.

Locate the small four pin harness has the starter/auto, ignition and Key Sense.
Note: When the installation is done you may have two yellow warning lights in the dash come on. The two that will come on are the ESC and EPS (steering wheel icon). They will turn on because the steering wheel was moved when the car did not have the battery connected. They will reset after you drive the car for a minute.
