After the frame was secured to the vehicle, the driver’s side sill plate was removed.

On trucks, backup cameras are particularly good for aligning things with the vehicle’s rear hitch. Unfortunately, older trucks do not have an ideal spot for a camera to be installed. The PAC VCI-SRVCC license plate camera is the solution.

PAC designed this plate to recess the mounting hardware flush with the face of the license plate frame.


The reverse wire (+ Black/Pink) is in a harness running from the driver-side sill plate.

A hole was drilled under the sill plate, and the camera cable was run through a grommet toward the rear.
