Also, show neat, clean wire routing and insulating. • Be sure techs are clean and professional in their appearance and demeanor. Consumers must trust and have faith in the people servicing their vehicles. • Include techs in the sale right from the start to prevent any miscues and to set the customer’s mind at ease as to who will be working on their vehicle. Be sure the tech is available to answer any questions from the customer when they pick up the vehicle. In a time when the products sold at a 12-volt specialty retailer can be purchased at any number of places, and hot products
today are cold as ice tomorrow, the one constant is the specialty retailer as the product. Establish a reputation as a consummate professional to assure continued success. MECP can be a key component in that process.
