Please introduce yourself, your areas of specialism and your firm profile?


I am the leading partner for the patent, life sciences and complex litigation groups. I advise and practice trial and appellate litigation for telecommunications, information technology, oil and gas, life sciences and healthcare clients, working in the intersection of regulatory and IP laws, with due diligence, business transactions, government procurement and antitrust, including data package exclusivity, regulatory compliance, misleading advertising, unfair competition and IP policy making. I lead one of the largest litigation practices on food

What expertise do you offer local and foreign clients?


I offer the benefit of several years of experience in advising foreign clients and the strategic decisions to cater only to the foreign community assures foreign clients expertise and the independence needed to build long term relationships. The formal training and academic degrees abroad, in different European and US jurisdictions, allows faster and precise communication with foreign clients. The years of experience with requirements of European, US and Japanese clients allow advice tailored to common and recurrent needs of clients in such jurisdictions.

We have been involved in several transactions lately, including assisting the world-leading provider of telecommunications equipment and related services to mobile and fixed network operators globally in the largest patent litigation lawsuit in Brazil.
