3DS: What’s in the box?

TOP SCREEN
3.53 inches, widescreen LCD with 800 by 240 pixel resolution.
3D PHOTOGRAPHY
The 3DS can capture photos and record vidoes in 3D, thanks to the two outer cameras. There is also a DSi-style inner camera.
The 3DS comes in two colours – Cosmos Black and Aqua Blue. Both include the following:

MOTION CONTROL An on-board motion sensor and a gyro sensor allows
cosnumers to control games by tilting the device, while the new analogue slide pad offers better control for traditional games.

STREETPASS
This unique connectivity feature has been designed to bring the 3DS community together. When two units detect one another, they exchange game data – even in sleep mode. An LED light flashes when new data has been recieved, with titles such as Street Fighter using StreetPass to unlock extra characters and items.
BATTERY LIFE
Up to five hours when 3D is in use, eight hours if 3D is switched off
VARIABLE 3D As if glasses-free 3D wasn’t enough, players can customise the effect with this little slider. They can adjust the depth levels or disable it entirely.
SPOTPASS Through SpotPass, the 3DS detects any wireless hotspots and LAN access points nearby. As well as enabling users to access the interet and play online, this will also automatically dowload any updates. Nintendo has teamed up with BT Fon to allow access to public Wi-Fi points around the UK.
