brushed off strong competition in the form of Bulletstorm and Black Opsto
take this week’s UK No.1.
The PS3 shooter – which is Move-compatible and playable in stereoscopic 3D – gives SONY its second No.1 of the year after LittleBigPlanet topped the charts in January.
Bulletstormfrom EA debuted at No.2 in the All Formats Top 40 and No.1 in the Xbox 360 chart. The publisher’s other big-name shooter – Crysis 2 – is due for release on March 25th. FIFA 11rose one place to No.4 while Dead Space 2 dropped from No.3 to No.6.
UBISOFT dancing hit Just Danceclimbed one position to No.5, as last week’s No.2 Marvel vs Capcom 3from CAPCOM fell five positions to No.7. Meanwhile, two games broke into the Top Ten again this week – with Need for Speed: Hot Pursuitat No.8 and Wii Partyat No.9.
Recent NINTENDO releases Mario Sports Mixand Mini- Land Mayhemdropped to No.21 and No.33 respectively. New Nintendo game Kirby’s Epic Yarnmade it to No.9 in the full-price Wii chart.
SQUARE ENIX topped the PSP chart with its new tactical RPG Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Togetherahead of FIFA 11.
Retail price promotions pushed BLIZZARD ENTERTAINMENT PC game bundle World of Warcraft: Battle Chestback into the charts at No.24. Other re- entries include Sonic Coloursat No.31, LEGO Batmanat No.32 and New Super Mario Bros Wiiat No.40.
