EVENTS 1 They have standard gigs during the week. A Goth night takes place every Sunday, a Rock night on Fridays and a party night on Satur- days. The venue would benefit with a few more clubs nights during the week, but still is good enough to gain a point.
SAFETY 0 It is 19+ on a Saturday night due to the number of fights that occour on a Saturday night. We don’t know how the crime rate is affected by 18 year olds and not any of the older folk. No guessing why they

VIBE 1 You can always see the que at Electric Ballroom on a Saturday night going around the corner. You know the people there just want to party.
VERSATILITY 1 They win this one as Saturday is a Pop and R&B night with Fridays displaying the best in Rock. A little bit for everyone to enjoy.
SIzE MATTERS 1 They have a hidden bonus of a second room up stairs and a seating area.

DRINKS/PRICE 0 Koko does have a bit more variety with Gaymers as your cider. However, the can element makes it hard to give the Camden venue any markes.
EVENTS 1 Koko is more established then it’s neighbour with Radio One DJ Annie Mac bringing her selection of music and her music pals for the ride.
SAFETY 0 Being down the road from Electric Ballroom, you never know if the trouble makers that are attracted from Ballroom will find their way to Koko.
VIBE 1 This club attracts the wild and the wonderful. Always packed, Koko is the home place of many TV shows like The Album Chart show.
VERSATILITY 1 This venue is quite versatile as it attracts a range of different people. R&B, Hip Hop, Rock and Drum & Bass gigs are often displayed for the onlooker to get excited about.
SIzE MATTERS 0 They have a big main room playing main sets. It’s not good for people who get bored easily and want a change of genre.

So there you have it. It was tight but Electric Ballroom sneaked a win. If you’re ever in Camden Town and wondering where you should go, head to Electric Ballroom. Just watch out for those 18 year olds on a Saturday night (only joking).
