Nicolas Cage stars as a revenge-seeking father who also just so happens to be dead and, as he’s clearly not one to let the small matter of mortality keep him from a bloody good time, escapes from Hell to settle the score with the scumbag cultists who killed his daughter and plan to sacrifice his granddaughter. Is it Shakespeare? Safe to say a pretty firm “no” on that one. Is it sh*t?


A hunch tells me we’re getting warmer. Is it good ol’ gold plated sh*t? The kind that knows exactly what it is and doesn’t try to be anything more than a damn good time?! With Mr. Five Pineapples Short of a Full Deck himself… er, Nic Cage, classic muscle cars, hot babes and demon baddies – fronted by the always reliable and criminally underused William Fichtner


as Satan’s right hand man, The Accountant – all in glorious 3D, you can pretty much count on it. Having said all that, I either had you or I didn’t at the first two words of this preview. And after the self-seriousness of his last schlockfest (“Season of The Witch”), it’s nice to see Cage back on a steady diet of action man Fruit Loops.
