THE GUESTLIST NETWORK | FEBRUARY 2011
PUMA URBAN MOBILITY COLLECTION
This installation aims to push the boundaries of the consumer experience by presenting a new line in a travel inspired space, mixing shopping with art.
The installation has been designed as a series of triangular steel rods which change colour from black to white to represent the change of the time zone in accordance with the mood of the traveller.
Creative Director, Chalayan, started the project in 2008 and aims to bring the Puma Urban Mobility collection to the next level of functionality. Already included in the brand, they focus on technical key pieces in their products such as the back pack with a hood.
Make sure you check out the new collection at Selfridges.

Trikki menswear provides a refreshing and powerful response to a world burdened by the slow healing scars of fast fashion. They create garments using a formula of innovative design, quality fabrics and a sense of responsibility. Owners Rikki and Nikki Shah manufacture all of their garments in Portugal. Ensuring children do not work in any trikki factories is their top priority! In an office spilling over with a life-time of sibling chemistry, energy and struggle, Trikki naturally represents those who work hard to ‘make it look so easy…’. The successful launch of Trikki in 2010 saw the brand’s reach spread from London to across Europe. Their garments were exposed in music videos across MTV and their wristbands placed on the V.I.P seats of Noel Clarke’s 4.3.2.1. film premiere. With a host of British celebrities, including Devlin, N Dubz, Sam Pepper and DJ Ironik being photographed in their garments, it is clear their rise to the top of the independent fashion scene has been stellar.
