THE GUESTLIST NETWORK | FEBRUARY 2011 UNKNOWN

So, the film is called “Unknown” but considering Liam Neeson’s on the poster holding a gun and looking like he’s been double-crossed… whaddya really need to know? If you liked “Taken,” not a whole lot more. That said, here it goes: eminent doctor travels to Europe with pretty young wife, doctor is in serious car accident, goes into coma, wakes up from coma, discovers

March 4th Starring Liam Neeson and Diane Kruger Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra (“Orphan”)

someone’s stolen his identity and even his wife’s in on it! The rest of us would probably just give up and have a good sulk at this point, but seeing as he’s a man with a very particular set of skills, skills he has acquired over a very long career, skills that make him a nightmare for people like these… this should be fun.

PAUL

February 14th Starring Simon Pegg and Nick Frost Directed by Greg Mottola (“Superbad”)

Playing, umm… themselves, old friends Pegg and Frost are a pair of sci-fi geeks traveling across America to visit the infamous Area 51. Once there, they stumble across an unlikely addition to their misfit gang: Paul (voiced by Seth Rogen), an alien escapee and all-around good, easygoing little green dude. Lending a hand to the fugitive

extraterrestrial (they always are, aren’t they?) puts Paul’s new human buddies squarely in the crosshairs of Jason Bateman’s special agent and caravan chases, gross out gags and explosions naturally ensue. If you loved “Shaun of The Dead,” “Hot Fuzz” and TV’s “Spaced,” you now have somewhere to spend an otherwise lonely Valentine’s Day.
