held on August 14 and 15 and hosted by Seattle Yacht Club and CGRA, did not disappoint! The PCC was sponsored by the Seattle Yacht Club foundation, West Coast Sailing & Nestle Waters, were held at the Columbia River Gorge, Oregon. Eleven races were run over the weekend in spectacular


conditions, the warm easterly wind blowing at 26 knots then easing off to 18 in the afternoon. With 48 opti sailors, Cooper Weitz, Sean Haechler, and Kristopher Swanson battled it out for first place, all finishing in their respective order. Will Cefali and Jack Toland fought for 4th place, Will winning the tie breaker. Out of 12 girls competing, Maria Casciani was awarded top

girl, finishing in 9th. With only the top 12 sailors qualifying for Team Trials it was a tough regatta of which parents were able to follow tack by tack with a superb view of the entire course. Aside from the racing, many of
