pleased to announce that the District 19 Championship, held in Sandpoint the weekend of July 23- 25, was a delightful success. Bound for Glory took f irst place. Pete Sauer and his crew were on top of the game this weekend - they traveled from the Flathead lake region of Montana to particpate in the heated event. Sandpoint's Ray Henriksen and his crew took second place overall with Red Hot Rookie. The winds were quite light, but they picked up soon after this race. All together, 14 boats competed with seven boats from out of town and seven local boats. On the race course it was cut throat,
