Lowtide
and they brought along with their crew, some great music. Lake Union was filled with scantily-
clad, thirsty sailors all coming within inches of the island, hoping to catch a sip of our latest elixir from Hales Ales. At times the boats were three and
four deep sailing by the island. Attending the party were all the usual suspects,
such as Scat (thank you very much for the rum!), Absolutely, Shoot the Moon, Tipsy Gypsy, Tantivy and Shogun, as well as some fun, new friends. We'd like to thank the Duck Dodge
Committee and all the racers for allowing us to be part of this event, as well as to John Thornquist, Jose David, George Williams and Don Bulkley for towing our
island out into the lake and back - and Kyle from the Center for Wooden Boats for also helping with the maneuvering of our tropical abode. Don't forget the last Duck Dodge is
Committee Re-appreciation Night, and the Rum Run will be on October 30, off Shilshole Bay.
