engine room while the rig was en route to Singapore, so that it could be removed immediately upon arrival at the yard. Te repair team onsite synchronised special survey and remedial works while undertaking steel and piping renewal works as well as hull refurbishment. According to Donald Bradford, project manager for Stena Drilling: “Te planning and execution phase of the project was clearly well-considered and daily updates and feedback was essential to meet the tight deadlines. In addition to the original contractual scope, the shipyard also took on additional work within the allocated time for which we express our sincere gratitude.” Te semisubmersible unit has now returned to its
