nanotimes Patents compared to known catalysts;
• Good long-life cycle (high turnover number); • High reaction rate even at room temperature, turnover frequency can be further enhanced by raising the temperature.

Production of a nanowire structure for use as a microreactor/ cata- lyst or as a filter for a gas sensor
Inventors: Dr. Thomas Cornelius, Prof. Dr. Wolf- gang Ensinger, Prof. Dr. Reinhard Neumann, Markus Rauber
Abstract: A method for the production of nanowires has been developed. The wires are arranged between two la- yers to avoid tangling of the wires. The arrangement of the nanowires between two layers is particularly suitable for use in a microreactor or catalyst. Hereby, the fluid is guided through the chamber between the two layers. With the new production method, specific surfaces of up to 5 mm2 realized.

Gunn diode on GaN substrate for the gene- ration of high frequency signals with high power
Inventors: Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dimitris Pavlidis, Dr.-Ing. Oktay Yilmazoglu, Tamer Karduman, Kabula Mutamba
Abstract: The invention refers to GaN Gunn diodes which were produced on a GaN substrate and are suitable for generating millimetre waves with very high po- wer. Due to one particular embodiment and arran- gement of the contacts, it was possible to generate
