CA50 DATA SOLUTION Class 2A product - no certification required
A developer using the CA50’s C SDK with the Motorola EMDK can now develop and put an application onto the CA50.
Utilizing this SDK and the Motorola EMDK for ‘C’, the CA50 becomes a compact data collection terminal with a 10 key pad and bar code scanner, but no longer supports voice communication. Using the SDK, the CA50 can operate in batch or 802.11 a/b/g wireless mode.
The free SDK works with all current and previously shipped CA50s. The SDK consists of developer documentation, sample applications, .h & .lib files, a new display library plus DLL & CPY files.
You can download the SDK from :
http://support.symbol.com/support/product/softwaredownloads.do Search for “CA50”.
It is ideally suited to both batch and wireless applications that require a small device with a menu driven user interface and barcode scanning functionality. Note. Application requiring voice functionality cannot be supported using the C SDK.
