Tauck Family Travels
Trying out Oberammergau costumes
and props... a perfect snow saucer?
Three generations of Taucks traveled to Germany in 2009. They
first visited Heidelberg, where Arthur was stationed in the Army
after World War II. This was followed by several days in the town of
Oberammergau, which will host 3,500 Tauck guests attending the
2010 Passion Play festival. The group ended the trip with a cruise
on Tauck’s new ms Swiss Jewel. The grandchildren were a great
help providing feedback on Tauck Bridges’ new Blue Danube: Family

Mahar moments... making memories
In addition to exploring Europe with Arthur (see above), Dan and Kiki Mahar
took the kids on Castles & Kings: London to Paris, one of Tauck Bridges’ favorite
family tours. The kids learned more about history than they could ever learn
in a classroom and had a wonderful time in the process. Everyone — kids and
adults — made new close friends.
