As professionals in travel, we are

responsible for advice to hundreds
of thousands of people… not
only where to go and how best
to travel, but how to stretch our
minds, engage, and build new
perspectives. In group tourism, we
excel at connecting unconnected
peoples; the most transformational
experience of all – often superseding
the iconic World Heritage sites and
monuments our guests come to
see. This yearning to ‘connect and
understand’ is far more powerful
today than ever.

Now that’s some fish story!
Peter and his kids saw a lot of wildlife in 2009. In the
Galápagos, Tauck Director Rick Rand had each of the
kids choose an animal and give a report in the evening.
Peter helped little Ali with her assignment and everyone
had a great time with the presentations. On Alaska:
Call of the Wild, the kids caught so many fish, Peter
says he’ll never be able to take them fishing again!
