the Covid-19 storm. None of its shows were cancelled and it has managed to keep in production with all its shows. UK private equity firm LDC acquired a minority stake in Plimsoll in 2019, in a deal that valued the indie at £80m. The production company has used the investment to drive growth domestically and internationally. Earlier this year, Plimsoll completed the full acqusition of the distributor Magnify Media, run by Andrea Jackson. Coming up is ITV natural history series A Year on Planet Earth,
Tiny World
which is also backed by Tencent, Fox Nation and ARD. Plimsoll is also making On the Edge with Alex Arnold for Disney+, following
the star climber of Free Solo in his latest exploits. Disney+ and Nat Geo have also greenlit Supernatural Planet.
