CINESITE THE NORTH WATER
Cinesite created vfx for new BBC2 drama The North Water about 19th century whalers on an arctic expedition. Work included the addition of icebergs in water, sunsets and blizzards. The team also created CG whales and birds, gore and blood additions as well as various clean- ups and compositing.
MPC LEIA BREAKTHROUGH Tech brand Leia recruited Smith
and Jones, director Ulf Johansson and MPC to bring the explosive
‘Breakthrough’ campaign visuals to life, with actors running on water and jumping through walls.
DNEG JUNGLE CRUISE
DNEG’s team, led by VFX Supervisor Christopher Downs, worked on 385 shots for the Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt Disney movie Jungle Cruise, creating a huge CG environment, complete with water simulations, as well as the build of the ‘Tree of life’ and ruined village below the water.
