Queens For The Night – ITV ITV has ordered a new special from Tuesday’s Child, Queens For The Night, where celebrities “will channel their inner drag queens and unearth the divas within in a fabulous competition like no other.” Karen Smith is the Executive Producer and Rory Dalziel the Series Producer for Tuesday’s Child. The show is commissioned by Katie Rawcliffe, Head of Entertainment Commissioning for ITV, Joe Mace, Commissioning Editor for ITV and David Smyth, Commissioner, Entertainment for ITV.
Entitled – Channel 4 Channel 4 has commissioned eight-part comedy series Entitled from Two Brothers Pictures. The series is co-produced by Showtime in the US, in association with All3Media International. Entitled stars Brett Gelman and is created by Matt Morgan, who will both executive produce. The series was commissioned for Channel 4 by Fiona McDermott and Jack Bayles. Harry Williams, Jack Williams and Sarah Hammond of Two Brothers Pictures also executive produce. Tim Kirkby will direct season one and executive produce as well.
Blackpool’s Ballroom Battle - BBC1 Stacey Dooley’s indie Little Dooley will deliver one-off Blackpool’s Ballroom Battle to BBC One. It was commissioned by Kate Phillips. The
executive producers for Little Dooley are Stacey Dooley and Wendy Robbins and it is directed and produced by Clare Johns.
I Kissed a Boy (wt) - BBC3 BBC Three has announced I Kissed a Boy (wt), a new dating show produced by Twofour and hosted by Dannii Minogue. The executive producers are Louise Hutchinson, David Brindley and Dan Gray. The Production Executive is Francesca Kybert.
Cheat – Netflix Talkback has been commissioned by Netflix to make Cheat, the streamer’s first British quiz show. The Series editor is Jim Connolly. Executive producers are Jamie Rea and Talkback MD Jonno
Richards.Cheat is based on an original idea by Giles Boden and developed by Laura Gibson & Charlie Bennett.
The One That Got Away - Prime Video Fulwell 73 and Amazon Studios are making new dating show, The One That Got Away, for Prime Video. The One That Got Away is produced by Amazon Studios and Fulwell 73. Elan Gale serves as executive producer and showrunner. Gabe Turner and Caroline Roseman also serve as executive producers for Fulwell 73.
Everyone Else Burns – Channel 4 Channel 4 has commissioned new six-part comedy Everyone Else Burns from JAX Media and Universal International Studios. It is written by Dillon Mapletoft and Oliver Taylor and directed by Nick Collett. Execs include Jax Media’s Tony Hernandez and Brooke Posch. JAX Media’s Molly Seymour will produce the series. Everyone Else Burns was commissioned for Channel 4 by Head of Comedy, Fiona McDermott and Commissioning Executive, Laura Riseam.
