Criminal Record - Apple TV+ Peter Capaldi and Cush Jumbo will star in eight-part thriller Criminal Record for Apple TV+ from Tod Productions and STV Studios. Paul Rutman, Elaine Collins, Peter Capaldi and Cush Jumbo serve as executive producers. Jim Loach directs the series.
Lost Boys and Fairies - BBC1 BBC Drama and BBC Cymru Wales have commissioned four-part drama Lost Boys and Fairies from Leeds-based indie Duck Soup Films. It is created, written and executive produced by Daf James. Executive producers are Jessica Brown Meek, Rebekah Wray-Rogers and Libby Durdy for Duck Soup Films and Jo McClellan for the BBC. It was commissioned by Piers Wenger and Nick Andrews, Head of Commissioning for BBC Cymru Wales.
Dance School - Channel 4 Channel 4 has commissioned Dance School (w/t), a new 8×30’ coming-of-age drama series from Duck Soup Films. The series is created by Lisa Holdsworth and Theresa Ikoko, the executive producers are Rebekah Wray-Rogers, Jessica Brown Meek, Libby Durdy, Theresa Ikoko, Lisa Holdsworth, Kathryn O’Connor and Jessica Straker. It is written by Lisa Holdsworth, Dipo Baruwa-Etti, Kamal Kaan, Zodwa Nyoni, Phoebe Okeowo.
Malpractice - ITV ITV’s Head of Drama, Polly Hill, has commissioned medical thriller, Malpractice, produced by World Productions, written by former doctor Grace Ofori-Attah, directed by Philip Barantini. The five-part series will be executive produced by Simon Heath and directed by Philip Barantini and produced by Sophie Reynolds.
Screw - Channel 4 Channel 4 has recommissioned prison drama, Screw, produced by STV Studios. It was commissioned by Caroline Hollick, Channel 4

The Catch - Channel 5 Channel 5 has commissioned four-part drama The Catch, based on T.M. Logan’s novel of the same name. The series will be produced by Projector Pictures, in partnership with Night Train Media and All3Media International. It will be adapted for the screen by Michael Crompton with Rachel Gesua, Suzi McIntosh and Trevor Eve executive producing for Projector Pictures and Herbert L. Kloiber and Olivia Pahl executive producing for Night Train Media. The series was ordered by Paul Testar, commissioning executive, Drama, Channel 5 and Paramount+.
Six Four - ITVX House Productions is behind four-part drama Six Four, ordered by ITV’s head of drama Polly Hill. Adapted from the novel Six Four by Hideo Yokoyama, Gregory Burke is the creator and lead writer, working with Clare McQuillan. The director is Ben A. Williams and the producer is Clare Kerr. Gregory Burke will be an executive producer and Juliette Howell, Tessa Ross and Molly Bolt are executive producers for House Productions. Polly Hill will oversee the commission and production of the drama for ITV.
Heartstopper - Netflix Netflix has ordered two more series of See- Saw’s Heartstopper. Alice Oseman returns as writer and creator.
Grace - ITV John Simm will reprise his role as Brighton- based Detective Superintendent Roy Grace. Episodes one and three will be written by Ben Court and Caroline Ip, with Ed Whitmore writing the second episode. Grace is a co-production
between Tall Story Pictures and Vaudeville Productions. Executive producer for Tall Story Pictures is Patrick Schweitzer, and Andrew O’Connor and Paul Sandler for Vaudeville Productions. Peter James will also be executive producing the new films. Huw Kennair Jones, will oversee production from ITV’s perspective.
Fifteen-Love - Prime Video From World Productions. Created and written by Hania Elkington. Episodes One-Three of Fifteen-Love are directed by Eva Riley, and Episodes Four-Six by Toby MacDonald. It is produced by Natasha Romaniuk and executive produced by Jake Lushington along with Elkington, Riley, and MacDonald.
Ten Pound Poms - BBC1/Stan The BBC has commissioned Ten Pound Poms, created by Danny Brocklehurst. The series will be produced by Eleven. It was commissioned by Piers Wenger. Tommy Bulfin for the BBC, Cailah Scobie and Amanda Duthie for Stan, Joel Wilson and Jamie Campbell for Eleven, and Olivia Trench co-executive produce the series. Joining Danny Brocklehurst on the writing team are Ryan Griffen, Smita Bhide and Ava Pickett.
Sky new scripted orders for 2022 The Tattooist of Auschwitz is made by Synchronicity Films in association with Sky Studios. It was commissioned by Gabriel Silver, Director of Commissioning, Drama at Sky Studios. Serena Thompson is Executive Producer for Sky Studios. Claire Mundell is Executive Producer for Synchronicity Films. Lead Writer Jacquelin Perske is also an Executive Producer on the project. Evan Placey and Gabbie Asher are writers. Heather Morris is Story Consultant.
