Christmas Carole – a Sky Original comedy. Produced by Sky Studios. Written by Anil Gupta and Richard Pinto, directed by Ian Fitzgibbon and produced by Gareth Edwards. The executive producers are Suranne Jones and Jon Mountague for Sky Studios.
After Yang – a Sky Original film Directed and written by Kogonada, based on the short story by Alexander Weinstein. Produced by Theresa Park, Andrew Goldman, Caroline Kaplan, Paul Mezey.
Truelove - Channel 4 Channel 4 has commissioned Truelove, a new six-episode drama series from Clerkenwell Films. Truelove is written by Iain Weatherby and co-created by him and Charlie Covell. It was commissioned by Channel 4’s Head of Drama, Caroline Hollick and Commissioning Editor, Rebecca Holdsworth. The executive producers at Clerkenwell are Emily Harrison, Andy Baker and Petra Fried. Charlie Covell and Iain Weatherby also executive produce. Elliot Hegarty and Rachna Suri will direct and Alex Walsh-Taylor will produce.
DOCUMENTARY
Love My Face - Channel 4 Channel 4 has commissioned Flabbergast TV to make four-part series Love My Face led by disability campaigner Jono Lancaster. Andrew Snowball, creative director, Flabbergast TV is executive producer.
Paramount+ reveals UK factual originals Hot Yachts - Curve Media. The series was commissioned by Kit Morey and Daniel Pearl. Executive producers for Curve Media are Rob Carey, Camilla Lewis and Charlie Bunce.
Monster: The Mystery of Loch Ness - Two Rivers Media. Mick McAvoy is executive producer with Stephen Finnigan serving as series producer. The series was ordered by Guy Davies, commissioning editor, Factual, Channel 5 and Paramount+.
Simple Minds: Once Upon a Time - Lonesome Pine Productions. It was commissioned by Greg Barnett, commissioning editor, Factual Entertainment, Channel 5 & Paramount+.
Strip - Firecracker Scotland The series was commissioned by Dan Louw, commissioning editor, Factual, Channel 5 & Paramount+, and made by Firecracker Scotland, part of the Tinopolis Group. Executive producers are Elspeth O’Hare and Jennifer Gilroy.
The Premiership: Rise of the Billionaires - Story Films, Studio 99 The series was ordered by Daniel Louw. Evolution Earth - Love Nature Passion Planet is producing five-part natural history series – Evolution Earth for Love Nature with PBS in the US and European broadcaster Arte. David Allen is directing and is series producing, together with Oliver Twinch. Executive producers are James Manfull for Love Nature. Bill Gardner for PBS and Hélène Coldefy for Arte.
