aystate has unveiled its eye- catching Red Wolf precharged pneumatic – a hi-tech multi-shot based on the electronic action developed from the company’s fl agship Pulsar. The Red Wolf heralds a number of exciting new initiatives that Britain’s longest-established PCP airgunmaker has planned for 2018, including new regulated options for its successful Renegade bullpup and Wolverine 2 models. the fi rm, said: “The Red Wolf launches with a connoisseur’s special edition model: the Serie Rosso is limited to just 200 worldwide, with each rifl e individually numbered and issued with a factory Certifi cate.
“The Red Wolf standard edition model is also dressed in coloured laminate – grey with red accents – with a walnut option, and both offer similar stock adjustments. It’s available in .177, .22, .25 and .303 calibres, with power outputs from sub 12 to 70 ft/lbs.” Daystate has also extended the lineage of its recently revamped Wolverine 2 range, with the addition of a 2R model to the Type-B, Hi-Lite and Hi-Power variants. The new 2R swaps the Wolverine 2’s bolt-action cocking for a sidelever system, further extending the appeal of the already versatile line. Wolverine’s R suffi x signifi es the inclusion of a regulated action, developed in partnership with the Dutch reg specialist, Huma, to
bring performance gains in velocity, consistency and air effi ciency. Brocock’s latest Mk2 versions of its compact Compatto and lightweight buddy-bottle Bantam models will be complemented with new Sniper HR variants that incorporate air-regulated shot release. Terence continued: “They’re visually distinguishable by a redesigned breech and inclusion of a single-shot loading tray option, the Mk2 models feature an array of performance-enhancing updates that have evolved since the inaugural Compatto took the airgun world by storm with its avant-garde semi-bullpup styling.” The HR suffi x of the newly-added Sniper models denotes the Huma Regulator incorporated into the action. The rifl es are available in .177, .22 and .25, power output up to 28ft/lbs. T&G will cover the new ranges in more detail in next month’s issue.
