Concluding remarks - The use of exogenous carbohydrase enzymes in, for example, corn-based diets, is becoming more prevalent due to variable ingredient quality and increased use of high-fibre ingredients. - Positive results of combining enzymes in both broilers and meat ducks suggest a similar effect across different poultry species and probably in other animal species. - The results from above studies show that the more enzymes included in the complex, the better the improvement in nutrient utilisation and growth performance in poultry.
