PowerHub is fully earthed, protected by RCDs and is certified as electrically safe. Individual lockers measure 236 x 331 x 300mm, with padlockable doors and ventilation to ensure that tools and devices are stored at safe temperatures. Charging cables are neatly stored, even in use, and the sloping top of the unit prevents items being left on top of the locker, thus reducing the chance of on-site lost property.

expansions plans Sally is relatively new to the hire industry, having previously worked in adult education and local government. Sally’s journey into the sector began in 2015 after her daughter asked why the prince was the hero of her bedtime story, and couldn’t the princess help herself? At this seemingly innocuous moment, Sally set about making significant changes that led her to the present day. “I was completely new to business and looking back I was completely out of my depth,” she
adds. “I enrolled in business programmes with For Entrepreneurs Only and the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses. Both support entrepreneurs to create jobs and economic opportunities by providing greater access to education, capital and business support services. “I ploughed the lessons I learned from the experts into GoHire and now I am delighted that
my growth strategy is working as planned.” GoHire’s acquisition of Caspian includes five employees, two vehicles, a comprehensive hire
fleet and the goodwill generated over 35 years of business in the town. Sally plans to rebrand the Grimsby premises before the end of the year, by which time she might also have news of a third regional depot.
