Takeuchi’s popular TB216 has now been joined by a short tail swing option, the TB217R. Offering the same operating performance, the new machine also boasts a slew radius of just 730mm, making it ideal for tight working spaces or utilities street works. A dig depth of 2390mm and dump height of 2545mm helps


maximize productivity, which is supported by a longer than average track frame that provides added stability when digging deep. The TB217R is powered by a Yanmar <19kW Stage V engine


with 11.5kW output combined with bucket and arm breakout force of 14kN and 8.2kN. Access remains key for this compact mini, and the track frame extends from a just 900mm to 1300mm. Weighing just 1680kg, the TB217R is a versatile and compact addition to Takeuchi’s extensive range.
