packs are nothing new, of course, although not all are as easily transportable or stylish. The sleek exterior belies a powerful performance, however, and the Instagrid One, weighing just 20kg, outputs at 230V/3600W. In purely practical terms, that’s enough to power an industrial vacuum for 105 minutes, to jackhammer 7.5 tonnes of 150mm concrete or to brew 120 espressos on a two-group coffee maker. Many other applications aside, of course, and all in a package that wouldn’t look significantly out of place almost anywhere. The Instagrid One is water and dust resistant, and recharges through a standard plug in as little as 2.5 hours.

Big deal for Bauwatch UK Burgeoning CCTV tower brand, Bauwatch UK, have just signed their
biggest deal to date – with Travis Perkins, no less. TP needs little introduction, being the UK’s largest supplier of
building materials to the building and construction industry. BauWatch, meanwhile, is a major presence in Europe, with offices in Germany, Holland, France, Belgium, Poland and, more recently, the UK. The company is planning to expand into a further five European countries in 2023. The new deal will allow TP
customers to hire a range of construction-focused CCTV systems – including BauWatch’s Solar and GreenLight towers, and the Brighteyez system. “Working in partnership
with Travis Perkins is an exciting and important landmark in the BauWatch UK journey. Together we can reach more customers and secure more sites up and down the UK!” said BauWatch Head of Strategic Accounts, Louise Smith, understandably pleased with the deal.
