Powered tower from CLM
CLM Construction Supplies will show the Lockhard Alulift powered aluminium tower, which is available in three sizes offering maximum platform heights ranging from 8m to 12m. A rack and pinion battery powered platform raises the user to the required height in 1m increments, and the product is designed for internal and external work. Also on show will be a selection of Bocker hoists, for
which CLM is the UK distributor, including the 200kg- capacity Toplift ladder hoist. In addition, visitors will be able to see the new G500 builders’ gantry hoist from Imer Group, available in 110V and offering a maximum 42m lifting height.
Kubota to debut new mini
Kubota will highlight a new mini excavator, the KX042-4, an environmentally-friendly 4-tonne machine which will be shown for the first time in the UK. It incorporates a diesel particulate filter (DPF) for clean exhaust emissions and has an ECO Plus mode to reduce fuel consumption. Other characteristics include an auxiliary oil flow with proportional flow control, auto-idling and auto-shift for operational efficiency. Also on display will be the recently
launched KX080-4a, an enhanced version of the KX080-4, which can be fitted with an optional two-piece boom to offer an expanded working range. In addition, visitors to the Show will be able to inspect a number of machines from the manufacturer’s ‘R’ series of wheel loaders.

Visitors to the Avant UK stand will be able to learn more about the manufacturer’s new Optidrive hydraulic system which is available on the compact loaders in its 700 Series. This is said to reduce the number of hoses by 20% with 60% fewer
connections being required, decreasing power losses by up to 1.5kW, which is approximately 10% of the total power used in the drive circuit. Avant says this also results in lower fuel consumption, less heat build-up in the system and reduced vibration, with enhanced performance. Demonstrations will also be given of the manufacturer’s recently launched electrically powered machines, as well as models ranging from the 200 Series through to the 700 Series.
