Doosan shows versatility


Machines to be displayed by Doosan Bobcat include the Bobcat 1.7-tonne E17Z zero tail swing canopy excavator and the latest generators, portable compressors and light towers from Doosan Portable Power. Receiving its first public showing


will be the 7/41TTG compressor- generator, which incorporates an 8.5kVA generator. This is one of a number of options available on Doosan portable compressors and is designed to meets a specific requirement in utility work by providing both electrical power for lights, tools and fusion welding, as well as compressed air for powering breakers and other pneumatic equipment.


Clee Hill’s specialist approach


Clee Hill Plant will promote the services it offers as a specialist compaction and surface dressing equipment hirer, with eight depots offering national coverage. The company says that, while it is known for its range of deadweight, tandem, self-propelled, towed, trench and pneumatic tyred rollers, as well as backhoe loaders and chipping spreaders, users are perhaps less aware of its fleet of mini excavators, dumpers, lighting towers and welfare units, example of which will be on show. The company will also highlight the latest Health & Safety solutions that are available on some


machines, including 360° cameras, vehicle activated sign systems and Tier 4 Final engines, along with new technology to improve efficiency, such as telematics and tracking systems.


Barrus gets set to celebrate


2017 is shaping up to be a momentous year for EP Barrus as the company celebrates its 100-year anniversary. At Plantworx it will focus on the latest John Deere and Yanmar Final Tier 4/Stage 5-compliant engines, covering a power range from 6hp to 600hp. The L100 and L70 engines from


Yanmar’s L-Series air-cooled range have been developed to meet the Final Tier 4 emission regulations. The compact units are designed for powering a range of construction equipment, generating sets, pumps and hydraulic power packs and utility applications. Barrus says that Yanmar’s TNV-CR


water-cooled industrial engines are already prepared for the introduction of the EU Stage 5 regulations in 2019 which means no modifications will be needed for them to comply. A working 4TNV88C Tier 4 model will be on the stand.
