Zenith to show expanded range

Zenith Survey Equipment was acquired recently by Vp and merged with the latter’s ESS Safeforce activity, to offer a wide range of safety and survey equipment and training, from 25 locations in the UK and Europe. As well as being able to conduct initial site surveys through to the delivery and completion of follow-up works, the business can provide equipment to protect workers and pedestrians on construction sites. At Plantworx, personnel will also demonstrate the

SiteZone proximity warning system, as well as Zenith’s upgraded range of rotating lasers from its Datum Survey Products line-up.

DON’T MISS OUR SHOW OFFERS Garic’s solar dryer

New from Garic is an addition to its line-up of solar-powered welfare products, namely a drying room, which has a thermostatically controlled, blown-air heating system supported by an oil burner if quicker and quieter drying is required. The manufacturer says that, as the unit harnesses solar energy for its electrical functions, it removes the need for traditional diesel generators or input from mains electricity.

The company adds that, during tests

carried out in winter, the unit produced carbon emissions of 195.9kg and used 73 litres of diesel per week, giving a claimed fuel saving of 86%, and that, based on a 50-week working year, this equates to an estimated saving of over 9.7 tonnes of carbon and 3,650 litres of diesel.
