MHM on a charge The Port Talbot-based company is certainly unafraid to put its money
where its mouth is, in terms of sustainable equipment solutions – with telemetry and its solar hybrid generators, for instance. Seeing which way the wind is continuing to blow, it is currently looking at battery charging stations. The first, which was revealed to your author in a darkened cabin at
Plantworx, is a standalone tool charging station (right) which runs completely off renewable power. No kind of generator is included or required, as the unit includes an array of solar panels on the roof with an additional wind turbine on a separate mast. Internal batteries provide 5kWh of power, and the unit also includes VOC detection, which basically picks up gases if a battery is at fault, effectively supressing any fire before it takes hold. Mow like a pro Bobcat has launched four models in a new range of
professional-level mowers for the European market. The models being introduced include the ZT3000 and
ZT3500 ride-on zero-turn mowers, and the ZS4000 stand-on and WB700 walk-behind models. The ZT3000 is driven by a choice of Kawasaki FT series
engines from 20-24 HP. The machine can travel at speeds up to 12.8km/h and it can be equipped with 122 cm, 132 cm or 155 cm TufDeck Pro cutting systems with professional-grade components for maximum durability and high-quality results. The machine is also available with a mulching kit. The ZT3500 zero-turn mower is equipped with a 24 HP
Kawasaki FT series engine, enabling travels speeds up to 16 km/h. With a mechanically suspended seat, a ROPS structure and the TufDeck Pro cutting system fitted as standard, this an ideal partner for ground maintenance professionals. The ZS4000 stand-on zero-turn mower is available with a choice of
20 or 24 HP Kawasaki FT engines. It can be equipped with 122cm, 132cm or 155cm AirFX decks, with Air-Gap baffles for better airflow and bolt-on steel spindles for high durability. Lastly, the WB700 mower has a powerful hydraulic drive that
additional benefit, allowing users to monitor performance data remotely. Internal shelves, additional charging sockets and USB ports can all be configured, and MHM is keen that users bespoke their units to suit their individual requirements. electrified jobsites – a six compartment mobile charger station from manufacturing partner Trime. Fork pockets and lockable castors aid mobility, although at 167kg the unit is no lightweight. The device is intended to be eco-friendly, MHM suggesting that it is paired with a 10kVA battery pack or a 6kVA (preferably HVO compatible) generator. Multiple battery tools can be stored and charged simultaneously, with an emergency stop button on the front to shut the system down.
minimises operator fatigue. The walk-behind machine provides greater precision for mowing around obstacles in high density areas. It is powered by a choice of 15 or 18.5HP Kawasaki FS series engines, enabling ground speeds up to 10.5km/h. The WB700 is compatible with 122cm or 132cm TufDeck cutting systems, and it can be equipped with a mulching kit.
