DEVELON Among the products shown by Develon was the new 6.2 tonne DX63-7 compact excavator – being exhibited in the UK for the first time. This machine has a 44.3kW D24 Stage V diesel engine powering a load sensing hydraulic system with a new main control valve. Another star of its stand was the brand new 14.6 tonne DX140LC-7K tracked excavator.


The new DX63-7 6.2 tonne compact excavator was one of the highlights on the Develon stand.


HIDROMEK Smallest of the new machines exhibited by the Turkish plant maker Hidromek was the compact HMK62T rubber tracked backhoe loader. Weighing 5280kg, this machine has distinctive elevated drive sprockets. The HMK62T was shown with a 0.45m3 capacity front multi-purpose loader bucket and its rear sideshift backhoe had a 0.06m3 bucket.


The Hidromek HMK62T rubber tracked backhoe loader is new to the UK.


XCMG Plantworx 2023 saw Chinese manufacturer XCMG really making its presence felt in the UK. As a new exhibitor, the company showed 13 excavators ranging from the 1.5 tonne XE18E to the 22 tonne XE220E. The XE18E is powered by an 11.8kW Kubota D902 diesel engine and it has a load sensing hydraulic system. To support its earthmoving equipment in the UK, XCMG has opened a support base at High Wycombe, where new staff includes Sales Director Alan Sams.


The XE18E was amongst 13 excavators shown by first time exhibitor XCMG.
