Focus on Digital Printing DORO TAPE UK
Garment personalisation has never been easier U
sing coloured films for plotter cutting and heat pressing on to garments has been for some time an
excellent way of personalising garments. Being able to digitally print a full colour image onto a white or clear heat- pressable film has taken that process a big step forward. With the introduction in recent years of smaller print and cut digital printers, such as the Roland Versa Studio BN20, the ability to produce and apply full colour printed graphics for garment personalisation has never been easier. Doro Tape stocks a full range of films for use on garments specifically for printing with these types of digital printers. They offer excellent photo image quality, and can be applied direct to almost all types of fabric without the need for time consuming pre-treatments. These films are ideal for any type of graphic, but come into their own when doing multiples of the same logos or decals. Taking into account all the costs and time involved, the production of printed decals using this system is very competitively priced. Doro Tapeʼs Image Flex range includes the 4030 Pro Soft White and 4025 Pro

White for use on any cotton, polyester or cotton/polyester mix garments. These films can be used on any colour of garment no matter how dark and can be washed up to 60°C. -Link Xʼs combination of speed and quality makes it superior to direct to garment digital printers costing more
than three times as much. And itʼs fast, printing white shirts in 30 to 45 seconds and dark shirts in less than a minute. M&Rʼs i-Color RIP converts digital art files into printed images with sharp text and line art. Popular print modes include
Single-Pass Mode for
printing on whites, colours, and blacks, as well as a single-pass highlight option. White Mode prints CMYK without underbase on whites and lights. Color One-Pass Mode prints a gradated white underbase and CMYK on coloured shirts. Black One-Pass Mode prints a gradated white underbase and CMY on blacks, using the shirtʼs colour for black areas. Highlight Mode prints CMYK plus white highlight without underbase on light-colour shirts with light pretreatment. The combination of ink-saving print modes and the bulk-ink supply system give M-Link and M-Link X the lowest cost per print among direct to garment printers.

and even umbrellas allowing for a much greater selection of promotional products for personalisation. Doro Tape even supplies the Image Flex Clear 4625 a super fine film for printing onto light coloured fabric.
