Brand Profile Castlefield

This relaxed fit bomber jacket is a slightly different take on the instantly recognisable style. All that is missing is the diamond- quilting as seen on the Fallowfield. The Castlefield is an iconic piece that the Regatta Originals range wouldnʼt be complete without.

It is available in three key colours; navy, black and dark khaki.

Whitworth

This classic double-breasted military-style jacket is one of two premium styles that make up the collection.

The premium fabrics used in this jacket really give it a lift above the others in the range, as does its waterproof and breathable qualities. Regatta has gone above and beyond with the design of this coat. The wool-effect fabric and lack of zips are what make the Whitworth different from anything else in Regattaʼs current offering.

The detachable fleece collar means the wearer gets two looks in one. The Whitworth is available in ash.

Didsbury This effortlessly trendy take on a classic Harrington jacket has already been well- received among customers. “Everyone recognises this one,” says Anthony. As a classic style that could be seen around the city in the 1980s, it was definitely a jacket that needed to be included in the collection. It has been brought right up to date with new trims and chequered lining.

“This jacket would look so classy with a small tonal logo on it,” says Megan. This lightweight jacket provides a cleaner, smarter option in the collection and is available in navy and parchment.

Corner House

This is a modern take on the traditional bomber jacket, blending wool effect fabric with leather-look sleeves. It is a mid-level piece in the collection and appeals to a different type of customer because of its look.

Megan says: “This is a real merging of sports and fashion. It is the jacket that has most shocked people with its inclusion in the collection.” No other jacket in Regattaʼs

extensive collection features a leather-effect fabric, making the Corner House truly unique in its styling.

The jacket has been designed to be slimmer fitting than a typical bomber jacket, while the stretch rib collar, hem and cuffs add to the design. The Corner House is available in ash/black.

Deansgate

This 3-in-1 waterproof is the jacket that is most resembles others in Regatta Professionalʼs range, just with a few key differences. It is a real staple piece for Regatta and shows off the companyʼs technical expertise and heritage. The little add-ons, such as the high shine, the epaulettes, the taping down the zips and the press snap fastenings on the collar, really help

elevate this jacket above the ordinary. “We have given a staple style some fashionable lifts and it really works,” says Megan.

The outer jacket can be taken off to unveil an insulated lightweight bodywarmer underneath, which is great for those warmer days. The Deansgate has been designed for practicality and this is clear.

The Deansgate is available in black and navy with a matching colour bodywarmer inner.

Withington and Longsight The Withington is a real trend piece in the collection. It features vertical baffling down the front and has a real sports feel. The high shine and soft handle fabric this jacket has adds to the quality feel. What makes this jacket stand out is the fact it comes with a matching bodywarmer, the Longsight. Another modern take on the classic bomber, this jacket comes with an adjustable hood and compared to regular over-sized bomber jackets this style has been really slimmed down. It is available in black and seal grey.

Ardwick

When mentioning classic Manchester fashion the parka can not be ignored. The Ardwick is Regattaʼs take on this favourite of the Gallagher brothers. It is the second of the premium styles in the Originals collection. It features a faux fur trim on the hood, an adjustable waistband and contrast taping alongside the zips. With all of the technical additions this jacket features, such as waterproof Isotex fabric and Thermo-guard insulation, the Ardwick is elevated beyond a regular fashion piece. It is available in black and dark khaki.

E are known for.

ach piece in the range features the signature Manchester Worker Bee in subtle places throughout, again encapsulating the hardworking spirit Mancunians

And in a final nod to Manchester each jacket has been named after a suburb of the famous city.

The colours used in the range are staples for the styles featured in the range, as Megan explains: “We know these colours are going to sell well as they are the most iconic and the most fashionable.”

Due to the popularity of the jackets, Regatta is fulfilling customer demand and size XS will be made available soon. This will be particularly pleasing to female customers who have taken a liking to some of the jackets, but have found them a little oversized at the moment.

Megan adds: “We wanted a range that we could hang our hat, and say ʻyep, this is us. We are from Manchester and look how fantastic we are. We knew the range would be well-received in the North West, but it has been well-received nationwide and even in Europe which is very pleasing.” To conclude, Anthony says: “This range is a real watershed moment. Not only for us, but also for the corporate market. We are incorporating fashion into corporatewear and redefining what corporate means. This is a bold, innovative move, from a bold, innovative company.”

Come autumn/ winter 2018 the range will have expanded as more Manchester-inspired jackets and complementary products are added, enabling Regatta Professional to build a brand around a more complete clothing collection.

The range is currently available from all major Regatta Professional distributors across Europe.
