hristmas seems to come around quicker every year and the best plan of action for you and your DTG business is to be prepared.


l Assess – Ask yourself when Christmas hits can my current set-up cope? Would you benefit from upgrading that hand sprayer of yours to an automated pre-treatment machine?


Maybe getting an additional printer will help you tackle that heavy work load to come?


As Christmas is the DTG industries busiest time of year, will these investments pay for themselves before the season is over?


l Maintain – Be sure you look after what you already have. Now is a good time to give your DTG printer a thorough service/ maintenance check in good time for the


busy period to prevent any unwanted stops in your production.


l Stock up –Best to have it and not need it, rather than panic about it when youʼre in the thick of it.


Consumables such as inks and pre- treatment are something that you can never afford to run out of, so stock up in good time to tackle the Christmas rush and breathe a little easier. Brother inks and pre-treatment have long shelf-life dates so they can be carried forward for use into the New Year without any problems.


l Train your staff – Make sure your staff are fully up to speed on all aspects of running your DTG printer, especially routine maintenance. As Brotherʼs only

n a buoyant promotional printing market there is an ever expanding array of items being printed onto for the purposes of marketing collateral, exhibition giveaways and brand building and this is set to continue as new printing technologies are developed.
