Printwear & Promotion LIVE! 2021 postponed until later in the year

T

he decision was made on Friday, September 18 to postpone Printwear & Promotion LIVE! 2021 from the scheduled dates of Sunday, February 21 to Monday, February 23, until later in the year. Tony Gardner, event director, said: “The February dates were giving serious reason for doubt with ourselves and exhibitors, due to the increased uncertainty, as a result of the recent rise in infections and local lockdowns, and with the winter still to come. Consequently, we felt that an early decision to postpone the event would be in everybody’s best interests. “Furthermore, following the government’s announcement on Tuesday,

“We recently surveyed our visitors on their intentions to attend the show in 2021 and were very encouraged by the responses received.”

September 22, the planned reopening of the NEC to host events from October has now been delayed, with no update at present, on when the venue will reopen. "We are now looking at options to reschedule into May or June and following further consultation with the NEC and our exhibitors we will make a further announcement in the New Year.

utoh Europe has released a dynamic new online presence. The new website is fit for the future and focuses on the multitude of opportunities for wide format digital print equipment for sign makers and print providers.

Nick Decock, marketing manager for Mutoh Europe, said: “Our vision was to create a web presence that focuses on applications and opportunities alongside product specifics. So, the redesign includes industry knowledge, product advice and inspiration as well as product information. We have also future-proofed it by using the latest web architecture and along with a contemporary new design, advanced search facility and easy navigation we think we have achieved our vision and improved the customer experience.” As part of the redesign, Mutoh has created a new Inspiration page. Rather than searching through pages of technical specifications to identify the right printer for their needs, users simply select the applications of interest and they are taken to the relevant printer pages – along with hints, tips, benefits, additional market opportunities and related applications. It is a helpful tool, designed to simplify searching and convey the products potential for the applications.

The website is optimised for easy viewing and navigation on mobile devices.
