Focus on Outdoor Workwear

Dickies Two new jackets launched this autumn

Dickies Workwear has launched two new jackets this autumn that feature an exceptionally high level of waterproofing (10,000 mm) while also being breathable – making them ideal options for working outdoors in bad weather conditions. The Generation Waterproof Jacket is a full-zip style, while the Generation Overhead Waterproof Jacket features a centre front half-zip with storm flap, offering two distinct looks to choose from.

Both benefit from reflective tape to aid visibility in low light conditions as the days get shorter. The hoods on each jacket are peaked and have a draw-cord for adjustment to help the wearer stay dry and comfortable. Both jackets are available in black and grey, with the Generation Waterproof Jacket also available in navy blue.

United Brands Functional and ergonomic workwear

Projob is a high-quality Swedish Workwear brand that is diverse across many different sectors.

The brand provides top quality functional and ergonomic workwear with the user in the forefront of the mind. Work clothes have to withstand a lot of hard wear; therefore Projob uses strong proven materials for its clothes and subject them to rigorous scrutiny. The details on the garments look great but, also, they always serve a purpose and areas that are especially exposed to wear are Cordura reinforced. One of Projob’s basic design principles is that the clothes you work in should have a representative appearance as every worker represents the company to the outside world. Life is also much more than the job, and the boundaries between work and leisure are becoming ever more blurred. Many of Projob’s garments are also well-suited to use after the day’s work has ended. The brand’s three core values are ergonomics, function and quality. Within this, Projob has some small principles that the team always aim to work towards.

The three-layer principle always starts with a base layer, which allows your body’s moisture to be transported away from your skin while ensuring optimum body temperature which enables you to work comfortably. The 3105 Crewneck is a great example of this.

Feel good wearing Projob

The second layer would be a polo or T shirt and the 3011/3010 gives the professional look for your company with three core colours while maintaining the technicality of the garments such as moisture wicking etc. These garments fit into any working environment, not just the outdoor side of the industry. To finish the three-layer principle and to fit into extremities, jacket and trousers are essential. With the weather in the UK as varied as it can be, it is important that your garments are both functional and specific. Projob’s 5414 + 5524 Canvas Work Jacket and Trousers fit the bill in every way, shape and form, from ProTec reinforcements through to STRETCH materials and even mobile phone pockets. These are only a couple of garments in a vast range so why not get in touch and find out more.
