Mantis World celebrates 20th anniversary T
his year marks a special anniversary for Mantis World – its 20th birthday.
To celebrate, the company has given its branding a makeover, including fresh logos and a stunning new website. Founder and CEO Prama Bhardwaj, who started the company in 2000, on getting to the 20-year milestone said: "Having launched at the start of a new millennium, it’s perhaps fitting that our 20th birthday coincides with these interesting times! I’m immensely proud of what we have achieved and grateful for the support of our customers and friends over the years and for those who are joining us on the next exciting part of our journey.”
Since the very start, sustainability and fairness have been at the centre of Mantis World’s ethos. The new site makes it easier than ever to learn about its story and ethics. Visitors can discover where Babybugz, Superstar and all the other ranges are being manufactured, and see where the raw materials originate from. The focus on issues around traceability and sustainability in the industry is higher than ever, and consumers naturally have plenty of questions on the subject. What the company has provided them with are clear, easy to access resources. At the beginning of this year, Mantis

World launched its impact calculator, a handy tool for helping customers discover the true environmental cost of their garments. These easy to understand metrics show the savings made by choosing organic – including water, energy and CO . The calculator is now available on every product page, adjustable by quantity to provide the most accurate data.
QR codes containing the same data, as well as a look into the supply chain, are now being rolled out across the whole range – conveniently located on the wash care label.

B
eechfield Brands has added a new Technologo
tool across the websites of its four brands to enable customers to virtually sample products.

The company’s new logos reflect the core values that its brands were built upon – People, Planet and Profit. Truly sustainable businesses work by bringing prosperity to all the people involved in the process. Plus, we have a shared responsibility for looking after the planet we all call home. The three dots serve as the perfect reminder of those values. 2020 has been a turbulent year for everyone, but Mantis World is committed to its mission of creating beautiful, well-made garments, and sharing with customers how we can all make a difference.
Roland DG simplifies colour consistency with new colour matching tool
R
oland DG has released the innovative VW-S1 densitometer, a new tool designed to make colour matching on one Roland printer and between Roland printers easier and more affordable. The VW-S1 is an easy-to-use USB device that works with the Printer Color Matching function of Roland's VersaWorks 6.8 RIP. This ensures consistency of colour output from one printer over time or between compatible printers. Using the VW-S1, users can produce volume work from one
client with multiple printers, or print a large combined graphic with two printers, or produce the same quality output from one printer over a long period of time all with consistent colour. This can save time, reduce waste and improve print quality across repeat orders. The device is compatible with TrueVIS, VersaCAMM, VersaSTUDIO and
VersaUV printers and printer/ cutters from Roland DG. Paul Willems, director of business development and product management, Roland DG EMEA, said: "The VW-S1 has been developed in response to our customers' needs. Our users tell us that other devices are expensive and difficult to use, so the new Roland VW-S1 is priced accessibly, is low maintenance and is easy to operate with the intuitive VersaWorks 6 RIP.
"This is a great addition for existing Roland customers and for people considering investing in Roland. Our technology is constantly in development to reflect the market's changing needs."
