Tranemo turns 90 I
n April Tranemo celebrated its 90th anniversary as a third-generation owned family business. Established in 1934, the Tranemo group now consists of HQ and sales offices in Sweden and subsidiaries in Norway, Denmark, Finland, UK, Ireland, Benelux, Germany, Switzerland and Iberia.
The company’s journey began with the aim to make workplaces safer where the correct work clothing could have prevented the accident or reduced the consequences. For this reason, Tranemo developed a new type of advanced workwear with improved flame and heat protection. As Tranemo looks to the future, the company’s focus on a sustainable business strategy and innovation, combined with competent

Fluid Forest.
The ‘A Tree with Every Order’ campaign was launched in August 2021, and forms part of the company’s commitment to being Carbon Net Zero by 2030. The partnership with Ecologi sees Fluid plant a tree for every order received, reducing the impact on the planet as the trees mature. The Fluid Forest trees are planted in the real world using verified and sustainable tree planting projects across the globe, where they can have the most impact. Fluid has also supported the prevention of 1,935.32 tCO2e from being emitted through 29 verified carbon avoidance projects, which range from preventing deforestation to producing different types of renewable energy for countries worldwide.
