MyWorkwear opens new production area following £100k investment

yWorkwear is continuing its fast-paced growth thanks to an increase in investment and the acquisition of new machinery and technology. The Telford-based workwear specialist has opened a new production area and the business is now setting its sights on £5 million in sales by 2025. With a £100k Capex investment, MyWorkwear has purchased three new embroidery machines and a direct to film print machine, along with other technology-related items, which will enable the business to increase production substantially in 2022 and beyond. The new capacity will allow MyWorkwear to secure new contracts from companies looking for personalised workwear and uniforms.

“The investment and the resulting increased capacity means we can now take on more customers and much larger orders while still maintaining our high-quality standards and service levels.”
The £100k investment is only the start of things to come as the business has plans in place for a new enterprise resource planning system and an extended sales and marketing team that will come into fruition over the next three to six months.
Orb Group holds first product showcase since start of pandemic

Each company that took part in the show provided an incredible sustainable range and advised attendees on how to get the best out of eco-friendly promotional merchandise.
Printful officially opens Wolverhampton facility
rintful has officially opened its first UK fulfilment centre in Wolverhampton to help scale up production and improve services in the largest European e-commerce market. Printful boasts 10 in-house fulfilment centres and 1,800+ employees across the globe. The state-of-the-art 90,000sq ft facility, which was officially opened on Wednesday, March 23, marks the company’s first expansion into the UK and is set to create an estimated 50 jobs during its first year of operation.

By opening a facility in the UK, Printful will be able to provide local fulfilment and faster shipping times – delivery within the country will take around two business days. This, in turn, will attract and maintain clients, for whom delivery time is essential.
