We’ve witnessed this at recent FESPA events and expect to see hundreds of innovative solutions at FESPA Global Print Expo 2022, with several suppliers signalling that they’ll be highlighting their latest developments in textile production, showcasing new technologies, media and consumables and demonstrating that there are exciting opportunities for textile printers to embrace.
As this issue goes to press in April, we have over 325 exhibitors contracted for FESPA 2022, many of which will showcase solutions and products for textile printers and garment producers. For example, Transfertex specialises in sustainable heat transfer printing for the fashion, sportswear, and home textile industries, while Dupont de Nemours develops inks for direct to garment (DTG) decorators looking to move to digital printing with faster, more reliable processes. The company plans to showcase its new pigment ink series in its digital inks portfolio at FESPA Global Print Expo 2022.

To support this, at FESPA Global Print Expo 2022, we’re introducing a brand new educational feature, Sustainability Spotlight. The feature will comprise a comprehensive conference programme run by a series of experts and will cover topics including: Sustainable materials to use for graphics and textile applications; How to reduce energy consumption; Carbon footprint facilities and benchmarking; How to make supply chains more transparent; and How print professionals can avoid greenwashing. Visitors can also view a showcase of innovative sustainable textile and graphics substrates.
We’re also looking to deepen our understanding of the
ever-changing backdrop by launching our next FESPA Print Census at FESPA Global Print Expo 2022. The feedback gathered from this global survey will help us build a better picture of the environmental challenges faced by our community so we can shape our future product offering and further support our community in this business-critical period.
