The environment sees and feels it “You can neither see nor feel that the Prism PU range is made of recycled polyester – but the environment can,” declares Result. The fabric’s woven base is manufactured from recycled plastic, polyester and PET bottles. The result is quality rainwear that is fully comparable to traditional rainwear, but with a signifi cantly reduced environmental impact.
Converted, it takes about 14 plastic litre bottles to produce the rain jacket, and about eight plastic bottles for a pair of safe and dry trousers. These lines will capture the attention of those customers wanting certifi ed (EN ISO 20471:2013+A1: 2016 Class 3&2) and sustainable waterproof safetywear.
