Fans of the movies know the soundtracks, played


through Star-Lord’s vintage Walkman, are as much a part of the DNA of the films as the storylines themselves. The Disney team made sure to bring that forward, spending hours and hours listening to retro anthems, originally narrowing the list to 100 potential coaster chart toppers, to determine which “Awesome Mix” would make it into the final soundtrack. From there, the Imagineers used a combination of virtual and physical rides to determine which tracks best matched the spirit and movement of the coaster, resulting in an onboard soundtrack that even Gamora would call perfect, “poet sorcery.”


SOUNDTRACK Guests of all ages will find themselves dancing and jamming – as they fly through the universe – to pop songs from the ’70s and ’80s. Each ride experience plays one of six countdown classics, including:


• “September” • “Disco Inferno” • “Conga” • “Everybody Wants to Rule the World” • “I Ran” • “One Way or Another”
