Wooden Coasters On February 29 SeaWorld San Antonio debuted Texas Stingray, then quickly closed it because of the pandemic. Built by Great Coasters International, it is now the tallest, fastest and longest wooden roller coaster in the state of Texas. This record- breaking attraction, which reaches a top speed of 55 mph (89 kph) and includes a 57° first drop, 76° high banked turns, and 16 airtime hills. The 3,379 foot (1,030 m) coaster has a maximum height of 96 feet (29 m) followed by a 100 foot (30 m) drop and a sensory-bending 100 foot (30 m) tunnel is midway through the ride.
